The Ted Mullin Fund is a driving force for groundbreaking discovery
Since 2006 the Ted Mullin Fund has striven to:
- Raise awareness of sarcoma, a rare cancer of connective tissues for which little research and drug development funding exists.
- Support pediatric sarcoma research and the introduction of improved therapies at the University of Chicago Medicine (UCM) Comer Children’s Hospital.
- Improve the lives of pediatric, adolescent, and young adult cancer patients.
- Form and equip a new generation of physician-scientists committed to developing ground-breaking pediatric cancer treatments.

Hour of Power
The event is a one-hour, all-out, leave-it-in-the-pool or on the practice field workout consisting of continuous relays. The event fosters individual effort and teamwork.
Ted Mullin Scholars
Each summer the Ted Mullin Fund provides four talented undergraduate student athletes with a 10-week intensive research internship at the Comer Children’s Hospital at the University of Chicago Medicine.

fundraised since 2006 by the Ted Mullin Fund to support the pediatric cancer research and scholar program at the University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children’s Section of Hematology/Oncology.
