Ted Mullin Scholars

Each summer the Ted Mullin Fund provides four talented undergraduate student athletes with a 10-week intensive research internship at the Comer Children’s Hospital at the University of Chicago Medicine. The scholars are chosen from a competitive pool of applicants from colleges throughout the United States who have demonstrated interest in pediatric cancer research and have participated in the Hour of Power.

Ted Mullin Scholars study in a pediatric cancer laboratory under the direction of the world’s most accomplished physician-scientists.

The scholars’ work contributes to the groundbreaking pediatric and adult cancer research underway across the medical center. The scholarship provides invaluable hands-on research experience and meaningful, long-lasting relationships with the brightest minds in pediatric cancer research and patient care.
